The Compact Gantry for Aerospace
The "LINEA" milling machine series stems from the success of the first linear motor machine introduced by Fidia in 2019. In addition to the well-known and reputable wide range of GTF gantries, Fidia presents a new interpretation of dynamics and a winning quality-performance-price ratio. The modularity of the structural design allows for three X-axis travel sizes, accompanied by a range of dedicated milling heads and accessories. Characterized by high dynamic precision in continuous 5-axis interpolation, they are equipped with efficient adaptive control, a standard feature in Fidia CNCs.
LINEA-S is specifically designed for machining avionics structural components in aluminum alloys, also available with Siemens CNC: “Sinumerik ONE - the first digital native CNC on the market.” All machines comply with European directives, allowing access to Industry 5.0 tax incentives.

M5S: symmetrical bi-rotary head for aerospace machining
The bi-rotary head, robust and thermally stable thanks to its symmetrical design cast iron body, guarantees maximum accessibility and precision.
The M5S milling head body is made of cast iron, and its symmetrical fork structure optimizes thermal stability. The "tandem" dual-motor solution for controlling the A and C axes ensures zero backlash and requires no maintenance. High-torque hydraulic brakes allow the axes to be locked in any position during high-material-removal machining operations.
