Research and development activities (R&D) have always been a strong point of the Group. Therefore the company did many investments in this direction during the years. The R&D team is today composed of 50 persons further supported by specialised external consultant. Thanks to its research and development activity, the Company can constantly adjust its products to the customers need and maintain an advanced technological position in its reference productive sector. Fidias research develops in all the lines of activity of the Company.
Fidia is strongly involved in public co-funded research activities. Fidia is currently participating in several projects funded by the European Commission, the Italian Ministery for the Economic Development and the Regione Piemonte. Such projects represent the opportunity of cooperating with internationally acknowledged universities and research centres:

Results of these project help to define guide lines for the development of products in the medium long term.
